The new Ripley Valley State School is based in the Providence Estate at South Ripley with approximately 700 students from Prep to Year 6. The school will cater to a diverse community made up of young and older families from varying backgrounds and cultures.This opportunity is for a teacher seeking to enhance their leadership skills by: - Working with a supportive and collaborative leadership team.

This is an important role in leading the school's PBL program, liaising with external agencies, families and supporting all staff with positive behaviour strategies.
Engagement of all students is a key priority with an emphasis on equity and excellence, behaviour support, attendance monitoring and implementing staff and student wellbeing strategies.
The role reports to the Principal. The school is looking for an energetic, passionate and influential teacher leader who can:

- Provide a strategic approach to encourage all PBL and student engagement endeavours which complement the school's existing positive school culture.
- Track student attendance, contact families and provide support to ensure students are at school.
- Liaise with external agencies (for example, indigenous support agencies) to support new arrivals and their families through integrating them into the new environment, and incorporating the holistic needs of new students including academic, social and emotional.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and strategic skills to organise and lead school special events.
