Based at our Yea branch, the Nutrien Ag Solutions 2026 Livestock Career Development program will provide the skills and training you need to be a future leader or technical expert within the Livestock Industry. The program is designed for top talent to gain valuable experience in all aspects of Livestock activity while completing an in-house Certificate in Livestock Marketing. During the 24-month program (roles are all permanent), participants will be involved in leadership and skill-building workshops, receive on-the-ground training, and have mentors assigned to provide ongoing support. You will have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, learning effective selling and relationship-building techniques under the guidance of experienced livestock employees and leaders.

Placement mobility after the 24-month program, including possible relocation to maximise your experience
Business skills: compliance, sales and client relationship building, communication, marketing and social media, understanding finance, problem solving, negotiation and team leadership
Livestock skills: next-generation stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, Auctions Plus, auctioneering, wool technical and market requirements and emerging technology
Who we're looking for
Strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry; excellent customer service and negotiation abilities
Successful completion of Year 12
Experience in Agriculture for at least 24 months, preferably in Livestock
Willingness to relocate during or after the program
Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident; temporary visa holders are not eligible
Vaccinated or willing to receive the Q Fever vaccination
Ability to work effectively in a team
Strong communication, problem-solving skills and leadership potential
Genuine interest in the Livestock Industry
