**The Role**

This new full time permanent role is ideally suited to a proven medical administrator, with excellent customer service experience, and strong people skills. In a complex human services organisation, ideally in health is preferred but not essential.

You will also possess excellent time management, be organised, and efficient, and have outstanding written and verbal communication expertise. You will be empathetic and compassionate towards the patients and the admin team, provide the highest level of care and understanding in all aspects of your role and focus on building relationships between various stakeholders of the business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Welcome our patient community with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Manage a busy phone line and be able to multitask
- Provide professional and competent support to medical practitioners including management of the appointment book schedule, billings and reports as required
- Practice invoicing and receipting including liaising with Medicare and health funds and other agencies as required
- Collection of debt including monitoring and following up debtors
- Support a team of reception and admin staff

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong customer focused skills with a high attention to detail
- A positive and proactive approach
- Proficient with computerised systems including medical specific software
- Able to multi-task with high attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills and highly developed people skills
