About the role:
This role is for someone who is eager to utilize their keen interest in welding, gas or industrial knowledge to achieve sustainable sales targets of gas & welding products. As well as be able to lead your sales team to achieve the same sale goals

**Duties**:

- Lead and coach your sales team in securing and increasing profitable gas and liquid sales
- Drive customer service to ensure customer retention, maintain major accounts and ensure service levels are met across the team
- Seek new business opportunities to enable profitable growth by monitoring market trends and developing and implementing market strategies
- Develop strategies to continually improve processes whilst optimizing costs in line with budgetary expectations
- Maintain relationships and performance of distributors and major depots in conjunction with marketing and operations managers

Skills & Experience:

- Prior hands on welding experience is advantageous eg. with a Certificate III or IV in Engineering (Fabrication Trade)
- Marketing or Business Management qualifications are desirable
- Leadership experience is a must
- Sales driven with proven sales negotiating skills
- Experience managing supplier relationships to develop customized offers
