Zurich's AU & NZ business has three core segments Retail, Group Insurance and General Insurance who have end-to end accountabilities to better serve their customers. They are enabled by Shared Services or enterprise side teams that have a large portfolio of responsibilities.
Zurich's Data & Analytics Function is accountable for the full end to end Data delivery lifecycle, from Data Governance & Management, Data Platforms, Data Analytics, Data and Process automation, Finance and Regulatory reporting and implementing AI solutions via the use of advanced analytics and machine learning.
The function operates as a Centre of Excellence organised predominately within "platform teams" supporting the entire organisation across all segments.

The Intelligent Automation Analyst position reports to the Automation Platform Owner and will collaborate with a diversity of stakeholders to achieve success through design, development and implementation of automated solutions. You will be learning about new and emerging technologies and working with solution architects to identify best technology for the individual use case to deliver fit for purpose end to end solutions.
In order to be successful, you will have the following:
- Take ownership and work closely with business and technical stakeholders to evolve the Intelligent Automation program across ANZ
- Design, develop and lead Intelligent Automation projects which achieve customer, time, cost and benefit outcomes
- Look for continuous improvement and innovation in processes and insights driven by business need and advancements in Intelligent Automation, AI machine learning and RPA to automate complex processes.
- Design and develop best practice Intelligent Automation solutions that fulfil business requirements utilising appropriate technology (including low code, Robotic Process Automation, Intelligent Document Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence etc)
- Work with architects and engineers to collaborate on the best technology choice for each specific use case to drive scalability and adherence with architectural patterns
- Produce high quality end to end process and technical design documentation and deliver processes to said documentation
- Lead project planning, oversee scope and roadblocks and organise on-time delivery of Intelligent Automation solutions, change management activity and reporting
- Establish and coordinate testing procedures to achieve quality acceptance criteria
- Work in an Agile environment and continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and manage opportunities and risks.

- Prior Intelligent Automation experience preferably within Insurance/ Financial Services
- Demonstrated experience implementing automation strategy and successfully executing programs in an Agile environment
- Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Multiple years of experience in solution design and continuous improvement, change or project experience
- Experience using UiPath, Microsoft Power Apps and OCR (Optical character recognition)
- The ability to problem solve e.g. understand the many working parts, get input from all stakeholders, examine the problem from every angle and think outside the box to identify solutions
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to facilitate workshops and meetings
- Great communication - verbal and written, ability to distil complexities down to easy to understand summaries
- Familiar with cloud computing and AI technologies
- Ability to code and build dashboards (preferred)
