**Groundskeeper - Golf Course Team Member**

Join the Pennant Hills Golf Club team as a dedicated and reliable Groundskeeper, contributing to the upkeep and transformation of our premier golf course and Club grounds. With an exciting three-year course renovation commencing in 2025, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a major project shaping the future of our course.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining a pristine, safe, and visually stunning environment, enhancing the experience for our Members, guests, and team members as they enjoy our evolving fairways, greens, and surrounding landscapes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute daily golf course maintenance tasks, including mowing fairways, roughs, and greens, trimming bunkers, and edging tee boxes.
- Assist maintain irrigation systems to ensure consistent watering and optimal turf health.
- Remove weeds, debris, and litter from all areas, including pathways, parking lots, and cart paths, ensuring an immaculate appearance.
- In conjunction with our Horticulturist, plant, nurture, and oversee the care of flowers, trees, and shrubs to keep the course vibrant and appealing.
- Identify and address issues related to turf health, pests, diseases, or potential hazards.
- Work alongside the team to plan and execute seasonal landscaping and course enhancement projects.
- Safely operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and specialised golf course machinery.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure and organised work area for yourself and others.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or golf course maintenance.
- Knowledge of golf course upkeep, turf management, and irrigation systems.
- Skilled in the operation and maintenance of groundskeeping and golf-specific equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, independence in task management, and adaptability to outdoor working conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks and to thrive in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and teamwork skills to support a collaborative, efficient work environment.
