Position: Telecommunications Field EngineerPosition Type: Full-Time Salary: $77,000 to $83,000 plus superannuation per annumLocation: Blakeview SA 5114Our client is seeking a Telecommunications Field Engineer to join their team located in Blakeview, South Australia.The Telecommunications Field Engineer will be responsible for: Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications equipment and network infrastructure.
Planning, designing, and supporting the development and optimisation of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure.
Conducting field assessments and site inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Providing technical advice and support to clients and internal teams.
Working with advanced telecommunications technologies, including fibre optics and wireless communication systems.
Ensuring the safety and reliability of communication infrastructure.
Configuring, testing, and commissioning telecommunications systems.
Diagnosing and repairing faults in telecommunications hardware and software.
Interpreting technical drawings and specifications for installations.
Conducting preventative maintenance on network systems to minimize downtime.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, vendors and suppliers to ensure project timelines are met.
Developing and maintaining accurate logs, records, and documentation of inventories, parts, equipment, site details, and network performance.Requirements:Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in TelecommunicationsAt least 12 months of relevant experience White Card Working at Heights Current Driver licenceAdditional Information: Lots of regional work which includes LAFHA
