This hands-on, self-directed role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fitter looking to hone their skills in an environment with plenty of variety.

As a permanent, full-time Fitter, you will receive an attractive hourly rate of **over $45 per hour plus Super.** Working Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 3.00 pm, there will also be **overtime opportunities available** for those wishing to increase their take-home pay. You will also enjoy:

**Your next opportunity**:
Joining our Maintenance team as a fitter, you will be responsible for undertaking preventative maintenance throughout our processing facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Conducting scheduled and preventive maintenance on plant and machinery.
- Providing a high level of reliability of plant and machinery, ensuring optimum performance at all times.
- Continuous improvement of process to ensure plant performance and long-term corrective actions are always of the highest standard; and
- Adhering to Michell's policies and procedures, particularly concerning safety, at all times.

**What you will bring to the team**:
To thrive in this role, you will be a trade qualified fitter. 'B' Class Electrician licence or qualifications in hydraulics or pneumatics will be highly regarded, however TRAINING will be provided if required. Welding experience with Mig, Tig or Arc welders will be necessary.

Physically fit with the ability to work on your feet for extended periods will be required for the role, as will the ability to work effectively with a diverse team with varying levels of ability.

You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, which will include alcohol and drug screening prior to employment and will undergo random drug and alcohol testing during your employment.
