Commercial Lawyer

Overview We're looking for a hands-on commercial lawyer to join our client on a short-term contract of up to 6 months, with potential for an extension or to move into a permanent position.
You will work closely with the Senior Legal Manager for Australia and General Counsel and broader legal team to advise the business on their objectives, providing clear practical legal advice.Key responsibilities Advise on commercial agreements, dispute resolution, employment law, workplace safety, privacy, competition and regulatory issuesDraft, review and negotiate contracts with a solutions-focused, business-minded approachIdentify, monitor and mitigate legal and compliance risks; track changes in laws and regulationsDesign and deliver training on antitrust, anti-corruption, contract management and other legal topicsBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partnersRequirements 5+ years post-qualification experience in mid or top tier law firmsExcellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communicator able to build rapport with commercial teams, developers and external advisorsContact For further information, please reach out to me directly on or email me at Our priority is to ensure an inclusive and equitable application process for all candidates.
