Meriton Suites is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for our Canberra property.
About the Role
As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring suites are turned around as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will work closely with your Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager to maintain the high standard of appearance that is required, this includes in the suites, public areas and back of house. You will work in a professional environment which includes a clear career progression pathway as well as the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced leaders.
Your key responsibilities
Daily allocations of rooms and duties.
Coordinate and supervise training of staff.
Coordination of workforce to meet daily deadlines.
Delivering efficient preparation, cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms in accordance with Hotel standards and guest expectations.
Effective time management capabilities with a methodical management style.
Attend to guest inquiries and requests.
To be successful in this role you will
Have previous experience in a large scale 4- or 5-star hotel or serviced apartment environment (desirable).
Possess previous supervisory experience or extensive housekeeping experience.
Be immaculately presented.
Focused and passionate about guest service.
Well organized, with attention to detail.
Team oriented and able to work under pressure.
Have full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
