Churches of Christ is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions that support our mission of providing compassionate, client-focused care.Your ImpactAs a key member of our data and integration team, you'll : Build and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration across clinical, financial, and care platforms.
Develop and support ETL / ELT workflows using Databricks and Azure Data Services .
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions that enhance aged care operations and reporting.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with privacy legislation.
Support data modelling for analytics, reporting, and machine learning applications.
Optimise data storage and compute performance across platforms.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in software development and integration practices.What You'll BringEssential : Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
5+ years' experience in software development and data integration.
Proficiency in Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL, and modern data stack technologies.
Strong skills in C#, Python, SQL, PowerShell, and Power BI.
Deep understanding of data architecture, governance, and Australian Privacy Principles.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across teams.Desirable : Certifications in Agile, Azure, or Databricks.
Experience with financial platforms like D365 and Epicor.
Background in aged care, healthcare, or not-for-profit sectors.
