2Ic - Randwick

We are seeking an experienced and motivated 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to join our vibrant team in Randwick. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Childhood professional to take on a leadership role, guiding educators and ensuring compliance with regulations to provide exceptional care and education to children.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations of the center, including staffing, programming, and compliance.
Act as the Centre Director if needed, ensuring adherence to the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Education and Care Services National Regulations.
Lead and mentor a team of educators, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, and the community.
Oversee the implementation of high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Ensure the center is a safe and engaging environment for children, staff, and families.
Manage administrative duties such as rostering, staff appraisals, and enrollment inquiries.
Step into the role of Centre Director when required, maintaining continuity in leadership.

**Requirements**:
ECT- Completed Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Diploma or Master's Degree of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
**At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role as a 2IC or Assistant Manager within an early childhood setting.**
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Thorough understanding of the EYLF, NQF, and National Regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (HLTAID012 or equivalent).
Proven ability to build relationships with families and the community.
