Boilermaker / Welder
Our company is considered an industry leader with an enviable reputation in mobile plant maintenance.
We are currently looking for OEM-trained Boilermaker / Welders with high levels of experience for our field service and shutdown crews working on mobile plant.
Future FIFO positions from Perth in the FP and MEM workspace may also arise.
This role involves:
Regular repair and maintenance on mobile plant, including chassis, tray, and bucket repairs
Line boring tasks
Applicants who meet the following criteria are invited to apply:
Australian Trade Certificate in Engineering and Fabrication
Welders Inspection Certificate and a Certificate 10 for welding supervisors
Minimum of 5 years of Boilermaker / Welding experience in mining mobile plant / earthmoving equipment
Experience with mobile plant such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and other equipment
Ability to pass welding and fabrication testing
Confidence in MIG & TIG welding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols
Mine site experience preferred
Rio Tinto or BHP induction desirable
High risk work license required
Dogging and rigging qualifications are desired
Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
Ability to work unsupervised
