We're seeking _**3rd & 4th year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration apprentices **_to contribute directly to Melbourne transition to cleaner energy sources. As we are going through rapid growth within our business, we're recruiting looking to expand our team of installers. This is a perfect opportunity for someone wanting transfer their existing apprenticeship over for a fresh start with a fun & vibrant company.

**Metro Heating and Cooling** - Established in 2019, we are a leading Heating & Cooling business located in Nunawading and servicing all over Melbourne.
As a family-owned small business, we have a team of 30 employees, and we stand by our slogan "**Just Good People**".
Working with qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Installers, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.
- Hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm
- Monday to Friday
- Full Time Apprenticeship
- Hourly rates range between $30 to $35 per hour (Above Award Apprentice Rates)
- You pick the region you want to work in

- Must be in 3rd or 4th year Apprenticeship
- Toolkit / box provided
- Uniform - lots of shirts, polos, jumpers, shorts & hats
- Earn and learn towards completion of your apprenticeship

**What you'll be doing on the day-to-day**:
- 90% of the work will be for residential homes
- Dedication to safety, quality
- Working along-side the electricians and plumbers as together we install these systems.
- AC inspections and diagnostics, providing effective solutions and recommendations
- You will also have leadership responsibilities in training and leading apprentices if you so desire.

**To be successful you will need to have the following**:
- Up to date with TAFE modules
- Genuine interest in completing your apprenticeship
- High level of attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking
- Be a confident communicator
- Driver license & own vehicle
- Ongoing career opportunities, with an extensive learning and development program
- Great opportunity and work environment
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
**Job Type**: Apprenticeship
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
Supplementary Pay:
- Commission
- Overtime pay
