A service based in Ma gpie is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 28.75 hours per week all year round, with the opportunity to pick up extra hours for school events.

Hours will be Monday -Friday, 7:00 - 9:00 AM (Rise Then Shine) and 02:45 - 06:00 PM ( Stay and Play Program ) plus 4 additional admin hours. There will also be shift flexibility for school events, as well as extra hours available on pupil free days and holidays. Note: there is some room for flexibility here, so if you can't make 1-2 shifts/ week please still reach out and we can discuss.

In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $1000 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $1000 loyalty bonus at 12 months + other benefits + super.

About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service
Based in Magpie, this service of 8-20 kids has a great relationship with the school. You'll get to be involved in great initiatives such as running the breakfast club and looking after the school chickens Your rapport building skills will be valued as you get to know all of the families in your service. You'll have access to a an indoor gym and plenty of autonomy to create engaging activities with the kids.

Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Active and adaptable - able to run engaging outdoor activities Strong and clear communication and rapport building skills with families and school stakeholders Must have experience working with people with disabilities or behavioral support needs Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights Holds or is currently studying an ACECQA-approved qualification at a Diploma level or above
