Human by nature.As a Planning Team Lead, you will plan, schedule, and order raw materials used in the manufacturing facility to achieve and maintain KPI targets (PIR/golden rules/best practices, SLOB, etc.).
Ensure that job tasks in the section are properly delegated and attended to by the responsible associates within the team.Work location: 12 Britton St, Smithfield NSW 2164, AustraliaReporting to: Supply Chain Manager, OceaniaMain ResponsibilitiesFunction ManagementFollow the parameterization in SAPResolve shortages through efficient scheduling to guarantee an appropriate level of inventory following corporate standardsEnsure customer (internal and external) response on time managing realistic daily plans considering capacity and raw material availabilityWork under the standards of quality, safety, industrial hygiene, and good practicesIdentify opportunities for improvementContribute to implement Planning Strategy aligned with our needsEscalation point for resolution of problems, complaints, and prioritization issuesMonitor workload and calendars to maintain the balance in the departmentCommunicate and work with areas involved, to solve issuesAchieve and maintain service level targetsObsolescence Control (use of SLOB Tool for Inventory at Risk assessment)Provide mid-long term forecast to procurementProduce daily, weekly, and monthly status reports (e.g., COOISPI schedule, OTS, past due purchase orders) and distributeReview customer orders for raw materials resale demands.
Create repack process orders and release to productionResolve or escalate issues related to orders, working with production, customer care, and regional and global affiliatesPeople ManagementRecruit and coach Planning TeamManage team to ensure that all tasks are performed, document performance, provide ongoing feedback (e.g., conducting mid-year and end-year reviews), and address behavior and job performance issuesMain RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Foreign Trade, or othersAt least 5 years of experience in the areaERP/MRP expertiseAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.You work within an inspiring teamwork culture – where you can thrive, collaborate, and learn from other talented and passionate people across disciplines, regions, and divisions.Every essence of you enriches our world.Diversity drives innovation and creates closer connections with our employees, customers, and partners.Givaudan embraces diversity and is committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone impacts our world.
