Our services help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes.About the roleWe currently have positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Workers to join our team providing care support in Bathurst, NSW.
You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect.
You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.Responsibilities will include:Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each clientAssisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic dutiesAssisting clients with daily errands, companionship and supportProviding support with academic, social or recreational activitiesPreparing food, feeding clients and administering medicationsObserve, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the clientResponding to emergency situationsTravel to Orange for services (If not local to the area)Criteria:Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent (essential)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to learn, develop and take on new challengesNational Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)NSW Working with Children CheckDrivers LicenceFirst AidCPR Certificate (Valid within last 12 months)Check us out at - Right at Home Southern New South Wales
