**THE OPPORTUNITY**

As a HV Cable Jointer you will be integral in supporting our customers in relation to HV Cable terminations. You will be required to attend to and rectify faults in a timely manner, which will ensure mínimal loss of supply and disruption to the customer.

**YOU'LL NEED THESE TO SUCCEED**

Your natural inclination to perform work to a high standard, and willingness to work cohesively with your peers will be complemented by the following:

- A committed attitude to safety; safety is at the heart of our business and an essential core value
- Experience with HV / MV distribution cables
- The ability to carry out electrical testing such as Insulation Resistance, VLF testing etc on Cables
- The ability to self-manage projects
- Ability to work alone in working an industrial/mining services workshop
- Exposure to HV electrical equipment and systems for mining and utilities
- Ability to work underground if required
- Ability to travel away for work all over NSW as part of a maintenance team

**EDUCATION**
- Electrical trade qualifications with a Qualified Supervisors License
- Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing (preferred)
- Understanding of electrical schematic and wiring diagrams
