Eureka owns a rapidly expanding portfolio of villages and is a property manager of more than 50 villages nationally, representing over 2800 units.Our values of compassion, fun, community and being motivated by doing better help to shape our ways of work and the people who want to work with us.About the RoleAs a Kitchen Hand at Eureka Villages, you'll support the day to day kitchen operations to ensure residents enjoy nutritious, home-style meals in a clean, welcoming environment.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Assist with preparation of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert itemsSupport safe and hygienic plating and service of mealsMaintain a clean and sanitised kitchen area in accordance with food safety standardsHelp with dishwashing and general cleaning of equipment, utensils, and surfacesReceive and store food deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotationFollow direction from the Chef and contribute to a smooth kitchen workflowProvide friendly interactions with residents during service, supporting a homely atmosphereReport maintenance or food safety issues promptly to the Chef or Village ManagerAssist with basic record keeping (e.g. temperature checks, cleaning logs) if requiredWhat You\'ll BringPrevious experience as a kitchen hand (Essential)Ability to maintain confidentialityFood Safety qualification (desirable)We celebrate equity, diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
