This role entails collaborating within a close-knit team, skilfully operating equipment, and meticulously handling materials to ensure the smooth and precise processing of scrap metal.
Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will safely operate machinery in order to sort, grade, and purchase metals.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeLoad & unload trucks, skip bins and trailers.Operate equipment, including Forklift and other heavy machinery (where licensed)Ensure customers receive a high level of service.Grading and sorting materials.Maintaining site and associated activities to comply with environmental guidelines while demonstrating personal responsibility and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures.To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will HaveValid Forklift license and operational experiencePrior excavator operation experience (desirable)Ability to work independently.A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training in order to diversify your skills.Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.In Return, We OfferA competitive salary and overtimeOn-the-job training, with certified tickets and opportunities for progressionInterested?
