**About the Team**
The **Arts Centre Melbourne Programming Unit** sits within the Performing Arts pillar and is responsible for delivering:
- a breadth and range of presentations at Arts Centre Melbourne's own risk that meet the organisation's curatorial framework and complement the provision by Resident Companies and external presenters.
- a number of events that contribute to the overall venue utilisation targets at Arts Centre Melbourne; and
- a program of learning, participatory public realm, accessible, inclusive, youth, families and children and community programs that meet the organisation's public purpose obligations.
The business unit is comprised of program management, artform programming, education, coordinating, and producing team members.
**Full time ongoing position. Salary $94,297 plus superannuation**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bold Creative Producer of Access and Inclusion to advocate for and conceive, create, scope, develop and deliver an inspiring, balanced program of accessible and inclusive presentations, projects, and events at Arts Centre Melbourne. The annual program will be developed in collaboration with ACM Presents, Resident Companies and in response to organisational strategic initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Creative Engagement, Programming, you will lead, motivate and inspire a high performing Access and Inclusion team to deliver on Arts Centre Melbourne's strategic goals and functional tasks, including:
- Manage and support the Associate Producer, Access and Inclusion in the delivery of their role.
- Including but not limited to the biennial Alter State festival, with a focus on disability access and inclusion, and reducing barriers of participation, actively contribute to the effective performance and success of the Arts Centre Melbourne Programming Unit.
- Work closely with Creative Engagement and relevant teams to generate funding opportunities.
- Represent Arts Centre Melbourne in campaigns, and inclusion and community forums.
- Support reducing barriers by providing specialist advice and advocacy to increase Arts Centre Melbourne's disability access and inclusion, including actively participating in cross-team working groups.
- Liaise with Resident Companies and commercial hirers to increase audience access and inclusion outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Relevant professional or tertiary qualification in arts, performing arts management or related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
- Extensive knowledge of access and inclusion practice in the arts industry and high level of literacy across the various performing arts disciplines.
- Understanding of theatre and venue operations.
- Experience in working collaboratively with d/Deaf and d/Disabled artists and communities particularly during planning and presentation stages of projects.
- Exposure to, or an understanding of, Government Agency requirements, policy and procedure, particularly in relation to access and inclusion.
- Experience in the use of integrated venue management systems and databases desirable (Ungerboek and Tessitura preferred).
- Current Working with Children's Check required.
