We have an exciting opportunity to work with a highly supportive team where you will be responsible for facilitating asset and property portfolio activity at DGAS residential home in Shepparton.

**The Role**:
Reporting directly to the property services and contract manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of compliancy and timely portfolio activities which include works and maintenance, services and administration.

**Key areas of Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to Asset and Property portfolio planning activities through conducting surveys, preparing maintenance scopes and schedules, and undertaking special investigations
- Liaison with authorities and associated administration, including, but not limited to, the Council, Goulburn Murray Water, Goulburn Valley Water, and state government departments.
- Arrange refurbishment works for resident rooms, public spaces, and independent living units as a priority activity
- Monitor responsive, planned (including essential services) and preventative maintenance jobs in accordance with existing programs or work orders.
- Provide advice to Home Manager about maintenance and proposed minor works including technical feasibility, estimates of cost, time and process
- Prepare in detail safety plans for tasks including preparation of SWMS, site monitoring, audits and record keeping
- Maintenance of works related OHS material including but not limited to the Hazard Register and its components.
- At least 5-7 years' experience preferably in the aged care sector or transferable skills
- Tertiary qualification in property management
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Good customer service with the ability to deal effectively and empathetically with people in a retirement and aged care environment
- Collaborative approach to planning and working with multiple stakeholders
- Experience writing scopes and providing cost estimates
- High integrity and ethical standards
- Proficient IT skills and strong time management.
