We are currently recruiting for experienced **Catering Assistant **to join our team on a **Part time** basis to work at one of our beautiful education sites in **UQ Gatton. **Boarding school environment, with opportunities to work in a variety of settings, buffet services, retail and functions. Successful applicants must be willing to obtain a **Blue Card.**

The essentials are that you love working in a fast paced environment, love to multi-task and thrive off it You will need to have flexibility and be reliable, with a variety of morning, night and weekend shifts.

**The Role**
- Setting up of functions and events
- Basic food preparation
- Processing cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Competent behind a coffee machine making quality coffee
- Preparing and serving a variety of drinks
- Being able to jump from front of house to back of house

**The Person**
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Blue card
- Hold a QLD RSA
- Experience in a fast paced, high volume, hospitality environment
- Impeccable presentation standards
- Exceptional customer service skills and be able to build rapport with students
- Understanding of OHS & food hygiene
- Ability to take direction & work unsupervised
