**Salary Classification**: Cardiac Technician Year 1-4
**Remuneration**: $36.26 - $39.75 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO's
About the role
The Cardiology Department is co-located in the imaging department of the Calvary Mater Newcastle. As a valued member of the Calvary Mater Newcastle Cardiology team, you will perform ECG's, pacemaker checks and exercise stress tests on both inpatients and outpatients using state-of-the-art ECG equipment. The position on offer is permanent full time.
**Your main duties will include**:
Performing 12 lead ECG's
Performing Exercise Stress Tests
Electronic processing of ECG's
Remote interrogation of Pacemakers
About you
Proven ability to work independently, and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and prioritise workload in an organised manner.
Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work within a computerised environment.
