Overview
Chisholm Institute is seeking an experienced AV Technician for our Services, Delivery & Planning team.
This is a full-time, ongoing position based in Dandenong.
Salary: $84,951 per annum + superannuation.
Responsibilities
Diagnose hardware and software faults, solve technical issues, and work with clients, staff and contractors to identify and address audio-visual and general technology-related issues.
Lead and provide specialist advice on projects to ensure audio-visual system changes are implemented to standards.
Develop training and knowledge material, guides and videos to support equipment use and deliver face-to-face and remote training sessions to clients.
Conduct audits and ensure audio-visual and video conferencing equipment is regularly updated and maintained in the Asset Register to enable tracking, servicing, and refurbishment/updating.
Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning to meet future audio-visual and video conferencing equipment and corporate technology needs.
Install, configure, test and troubleshoot audio-visual devices, such as displays, cameras, microphones, audio equipment, and signage.
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in design, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of professional audio-visual, video conferencing and control systems in an education environment.
You will have a good understanding of information technology as it applies to modern audio-visual, video conferencing and control systems and a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and operation of modern sound systems including system operation.
Qualifications
Degree or relevant postgraduate qualifications in information systems, information technology, computing or business and experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, skills and/or education/training.
