We provide a challenging and fast-paced work environment, a variety of design technologies, as well as a competitive benefits package.POSITIONWe are seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, experienced NPI Engineer with high personal standards of performance to support the growing engineering operations.
This position reports directly to our Director of Engineering Program Management and will be located at our Milford, MA facility.Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will be the hands-on engineering representative for new electro-mechanical (Display Assemblies, Computer Systems, Computer with Display all-in-one systems, Support Equipment, etc.).
You will provide support for the project release, design, assembly and test of these new projects.
This will require working cross-functional with other departments within the organization.
Limited travel will be required.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESMinimum 2+ years working in New Product Introduction environmentEngineering support for NPI ProjectsMember NPI Teams as assigned.Track and report on NPI Team action lists and schedules.Follow up with NPI Project Manager on actions dueInitial Part Number Creation of (including but not limited to)Test Configuration documentsSchematicsChecklist documentsUser manualTest PlansPrototype Material tracking.Prototype build support.Qualification testing support.Travel to customer sites as necessary to support the NPI project.Travel to test certification labs as necessary to support the NPI project.May require travel to customers and trade shows (
