**Position description**:
We are seeking enthusiastic **Pathology Aide** to join our vibrant **Patient Services Team.** You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:
Collecting non-blood samples from patients including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring

Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled

Delivering exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment, including reception and phone work

Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures

Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory

We offer a comprehensive training program suitable for medical/health science students wishing to gain valuable experience in a clinical environment whilst studying. You will learn high quality patient care and valuable clinical skills in a fast paced, flexible working environment.

Is passionate about healthcare and committed to providing excellent care and service to patients and doctors

A hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic

Team player with the ability to work unsupervised

Excellent written and oral communication skills

High level attention to detail and record keeping skills.

Unrestricted working rights in Australia

Commitment to annual influenza vaccination.

A National Police Check, Working with Children clearance and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) will be required prior to commencement.

Please note, our program requires a non-negotiable minimum 25 hour per week commitment.
