**Lindsay Transport is currently seeking Forklift Drivers to join our team at Erskine Park in both Morning and Afternoon shifts.**

**About the role**:
Forklift Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift for the purposes of loading and unloading vehicles and moving freight to and from storage areas. They must ensure that trucks are loaded in accordance with the load sheet, all stabilisation equipment is used as required and fridge motor temperatures are set correctly and checked prior to vehicle departure.

**This role will have frequent opportunities to work overtime**.

Duties you can expect with this role include:

- Primarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers for distribution within an environment of **2°C or lower**.
- Ensuring goods are stored in correct areas so that they can be easily located when loading trailers
- Monitoring equipment operation visually through gauges and instruments and through computerised monitoring equipment
- Being mindful of equipment to identify wear and maintenance requirements
- performing stock takes as required

**About the requirements**:

- Be available Monday - Friday commencing at 10:00am or 2:00pm (weekend overtime available)
- Have a valid Forklift Licence (LF class)
- Be willing to work in an environment of **2°C or lower**:

- Be reliable, punctual and committed to the role
- Have clear communication and writing skills
- Have a can-do attitude.
- be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical check-up including a drug and alcohol test

Past experience in logistic, warehousing or transportation or experience pick packing fresh, frozen or chilled produce is well respected for this role but not a minimum requirement.
