**Quick overview of the role**

We are currently seeking an experienced Operator/Loader to join our Currumbin Service Centre in a full-time permanent capacity. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for operating all machinery and vehicles in the service center in a safe manner. You will ensure that all loads are correctly produced, prepared, packed and loaded with a clear focus on safety. We are seeking those who are adaptable, flexible and can learn on the go, however, the successful applicant will be provided thorough training and support.

**What will you be doing?**
- Conduct pre-start checks on all equipment and machinery before it is used
- Report & escalate any fault and/or safety incidents & hazards within nominated timeframes
- Operate all machine/plant and using any relevant equipment in a safe manner as stated in the TAP & all other relevant training paperwork
- Must be able to interpret all relevant company paperwork & execute the given task efficiently & accurately
- Safely unload Goods Inwards Deliveries & ensure accuracy of paperwork
- Safely load Company, Contractor & Customer Vehicles within the Safe Loading Guidelines
- Ensure all produced product is within tolerances and bundled/packed correctly & safely before & after the order is loaded for transportation
- Complete relevant paperwork, ensuring it is filled out correctly & accurately i.e., preparation, production, loading, unloading, delivery, etc.
- Communicate with other staff ensuring a productive, cost effective & safe worksite
- Previous production/factory experience desirable
- Current forklift license and crane experience desirable
- Physically able to lift products and work standing up for most of the workday
- Reliable, responsible and dependable with a customer service mindset
- Be a proactive, forward thinker who can multitask
