**About the Role**:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of clients by providing person-centered care in their homes and communities.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:
Providing social & community support - Engage clients in social activities, outings, and community programs.
Offering emotional support & companionship - Be a trusted presence in their lives.
Assisting with daily living activities - Including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Supporting medication management & health monitoring - Ensuring client safety and well-being.
Advocating for clients - Helping them access essential resources and services.
Documenting progress - Keeping accurate records and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Compassionate & empathetic - You genuinely care about people's well-being.
Reliable & adaptable - Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Great communicator - Able to connect with diverse individuals.
Strong organizational skills - Can work with clients with complex mental health and disability -prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $32.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Angaston SA 5353: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Manual Handling (preferred)
- Police check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
