Overview
Position: Intermediate Developer (Software Developer) at Simpro Software. You will design, develop, and maintain software applications across multiple technology stacks, working closely with team members to deliver high-quality solutions while expanding your technical expertise in cloud, frontend, and backend technologies.
Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable applications using serverless architecture on AWS
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
Create responsive, modern user interfaces using frontend frameworks like Angular or React
Develop backend logic primarily in PHP, with exposure to other languages as needed
Participate in code reviews, testing, and solution design
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
Collaborate with team members on architecture decisions and technical solutions
Document code, processes, and technical specifications
Qualifications
3+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one frontend framework (Angular or React)
Experience with PHP backend development or other similar backend technologies
Working knowledge of serverless technologies, preferably on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)
Understanding of API design principles and implementation
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
