**Description Overview**:
Based at our Belrose office in Sydney, this role is the demand and supply business partner for the Branded Consumer Selfcare (BCS) business unit. You will be responsible for the end to end demand and supply being the point of contact for the BCS portfolio.

As part of the demand planning you will liaise with customers and sales teams to develop base forecasts and provide forecast driver details to enable informed product supply planning, capacity planning and financial outlook decisions. You will use external market sales data and key customer data to validate sales forecast to drive forecast accuracy improvements. As part of the supply planning, you will manage and maintain the supply plan for BCS business unit placing PO's with suppliers including Co-packers as per supplier lead times to maintain agreed inventory levels.

Additionally the role is responsible for maintaining all planning master data in SAP and other business planning tools to enable accurate planning and exception reporting. These reports will be used to drive business and manage supplier due dates for purchase orders. Where applicable, any EDI (Idoc) message failures will require investigation and resolution in SAP to ensure SAP is current and accurate.

**Scope of the Role**:

- Provide weekly supply updates on back orders and products on short supply will be required and communicated to various stakeholders
- You will be responsible for preparing and presenting data for required meetings in the SIOP cycle. This will include forecast accuracy, demand changes from budget and previous planning cycle and supply challenges
- Develop, maintain and present a rolling 18-month product statistical based forecast and manage other base forecast inputs for a specific segment of company business in support of the monthly sales and operations planning processes
- Proactively seek information and perform analyses that lead to better, more accurate mid-to-long term forecasts
- Provide specialised historical and forecast information to various departments as required
- Raise PO and maintain due dates based on supplier manufacturing plan
- Prepare exceptions, updates and documents for monthly Sales and Operations Planning meetings and make presentations as designated
- Initiate and contribute to the annual business planning process for respective categories and products
- Consolidate, report and communicate on backorders and short supply

**Experience Required**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting or a related field is required
- A minimum of three years' experience in demand and/or supply planning
- Demonstrated success in a position requiring detailed analytical activity - strong mathematical background preferred
- Demonstrated working knowledge of FMCG/grocery sector, familiarity with manufacturing, production scheduling and logistics processes
- Experience in S&OP processes, in preparing and analysing reports and dashboards, collating and integrating information from the stakeholders
- Excellent ability to obtain and analyse data, work independently and proactively meet deadlines within a fast—paced environment
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office software, with Macro experience, SAP / APO or other Demand Planning software experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
