An exciting opportunity is available for a Site Leader to join our Northam site in a full-time, permanent role. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing ANZ and a member of our senior operations leadership team, this role is responsible for the direction and oversight of the end-to-end flour manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities of the role include:
Strategic leadership and management of the end-to-end manufacturing processConstructive leadership, building a high performing team of accountable leaders who can deliver the business goals through their people.Develop and promote a high standard on all aspects of people and food safety and build, maintain and champion a safety-first culture.Drive increased productivity and output through a culture of continuous improvement and organisational alignment.Ensuring regular consistent reporting and monitoring at organisation and team level to track progress but also to identify operational gaps and opportunities.Develop and maintain relationships and strategies with all key stakeholders within the community to promote our ongoing commitment to the environment.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need proven experience in high-volume food manufacturing—ideally in flour, feed, or rice milling. Strong leadership and people management skills are essential, particularly in driving engagement and cultural change in demanding environments. You must have a solid track record in managing health, safety, quality, and environmental systems, along with a commitment to best practices. You will need to manage ambiguity and build strong stakeholder relationships. We require a continuous improvement mindset that proactively looks for improvement initiatives at our site.
