About The Opportunity:
Collaborate with our Energy team and oversee the maintenance and servicing of power generators, lighting, and dewatering equipment in a hybrid role based in Perth and onsite.
Maintenance, installation, and commissioning of UON products as required
Manufacturing, repair, and modification of UON products as required to customer specifications
Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Maintain and service UON equipment
Provide technical advice
Offer training and mentoring to trainees and apprentices
Ensure electrical equipment is tested and tagged correctly in accordance with applicable legislation
About You:
The role suits a self-motivated Maintenance Electrician with experience working on gensets and dewatering equipment, seeking a hybrid role with Perth and site-based work.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to lift and move items
Strong communication skills (written and interpersonal)
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions accurately
Minimum Requirements:
Electrical Trade Certificate
Grade A State Electrical Licence
At least 2 years of post-trade experience
Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) Training within 12 months of employment
CPR Training within 12 months of employment
Knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance and repair processes
Experience in renewable energy sector
