We're incredibly proud of our amazing people, and the unique way we celebrate Mexican culture in everything we do.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Bakewell, Australia.
As a key member of our management team, you will support the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient team performance.Lead and motivate the restaurant team during busy service periods, fostering a collaborative and positive work environmentTrain and develop crew members, focusing on skill improvement and career growthProactively enhance guest experience through attentive service and prompt issue resolutionSupport inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising wasteAssist in financial management tasks, including cash handling and basic budgetingEnsure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and safe dining environmentCollaborate with the Restaurant Manager to implement new initiatives and improve operational efficiencyHandle customer feedback and complaints professionally, striving for high customer satisfactionAssist in creating staff rotas and managing shift schedulesContribute to menu planning and special promotions, considering local preferences and seasonal availabilityQualificationsProven experience leading a team within a busy, high-volume hospitality environmentDemonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer serviceExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for inspiring, leading, and developing team membersStrong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, including familiarity with local standardsProficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systemsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsBasic financial management and budgeting abilitiesAdaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectivelyFamiliarity with local food culture and dining preferences in Stuart Park and surrounding areasAdditional InformationStarting salary $75,000 plus Super
