**The opportunity**:
We are seeking a
**Permanent Part-time Imprest Pharmacy Technician** to join our supportive and friendly Epic Pharmacy team at
**The Mater Hospital, North Sydney. **In this role you will provide pharmacy support by delivering, replenishing, and maintaining the stock levels of our pharmacy and the hospital wards. You will also have the opportunity to assist customers and patients with general enquiries, and support the pharmacy team with various operational and administrative tasks.

Mater Hospital North Sydney boasts 223 beds, and provides intensive care, cancer care and surgery, orthopaedic and rehabilitation wards, as well as a maternity unit.

**The hours**:
In this part-time role you will work each Thursday and Friday, 7.5 hours per day (30 hours per fortnight).

**In this role, you'll**:

- Replenish ward imprest stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels both in pharmacy and in the hospital
- Assist customers with general queries, including liaising with hospital staff
- Support efficient delivery of medications to clinical units
- Assist in the maintenance of all pharmacy storage areas through stock rotation, consideration of relevant storage requirements, expiry date monitoring, cyclical stock counts and general housekeeping
- Support pharmacy team with operational and administrative tasks for inventory
- Assist the pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties

**Eligibility Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in an Australian based pharmacy
- An understanding of pharmacy products
