Please note – Meandu is a Residential Mine – no camp accommodation or housing provided.
This role would be best suited to current or returning residents of the Kingaroy region.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the mine, ensuring safe and efficient production in line with Mine Safety and Inspection requirements.Lead and manage personnel and equipment to optimise production activities and meet operational targets.Effectively allocate tasks and manage workloads within the production team to achieve development goals and maintain project timelines.Ensure full compliance with the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations, fostering a strong safety culture and proactive risk management.About You5+ years of production experience in an open-cut coal mining operation, with a strong understanding of site operations and efficiencies.2+ years of supervisory experience in an open-cut coal mining environment, demonstrating effective leadership and team management.In-depth knowledge of QLD Coal Mining legislation, ensuring compliance and best practices in safety and operations.Current C Class Driver's Licence.A proven ability to motivate teams, drive performance, and achieve business targets in a dynamic mining environment.S1,2,3 and G2 Certificate.Working At BUMABUMA Australia is a people-focused business with a strong emphasis on safety, training, development and continuous improvement.

We are responsible for both managing and operating the mine.
Services include planning, drilling, overburden removal, coal mining, coal processing, rehabilitation, and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant.
The project uses a combination of dragline and truck-and-shovel operations.
