**The Company**:
Our client is a highly regarded real estate investment, funds management and development firm known for its expertise in identifying and acquiring assets with strong potential for growth and value appreciation. Undergoing an impressive phase of expansion, bolstered by an array of development undertakings in the works, they are now seeking a Development Analyst to join the team.
**The Role**:
The Development Analyst will be based in Brisbane and plays a key role in supporting the investment/fund decision-making process by providing financial analysis, market research and project evaluation. You will ensure that investment decisions are well-informed, financially sound, and align with the Senior Management teams strategic objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare detailed financial models and feasibility studies to evaluate the potential financial performance of development projects, including cash flow projections, IRR, NPV, ROI, and other financial metrics.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and make recommendations to the senior management team.
- Evaluate development proposals from developers, reviewing project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
- Monitoring the progress of ongoing development projects, including tracking project budgets and timelines, identifying potential issues or risks, and making recommendations for corrective actions.
- Assist the senior management team with due diligence processes for potential acquisitions of new properties or development projects.
- Prepare reports and presentations on investment opportunities, financial analysis, and project performance for the senior management team.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Experience in conducting market research and analysis.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
