**What you'll do..**

The role of the Financial Reporting Assistant Manager sits within our Financial Reporting Team and is responsible for the efficient delivery of business performance reporting (month/quarter/year end), internal and external audit, and ad hoc projects. The role reports to our Financial Reporting Manager and also works closely with key operational departments across our business.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assistant finance manager or a solid senior financial accountant to join our team, with strong IFRS technical knowledge and ASX listed reporting experience.
- Oversee the monthly management reports to ensure accurate analysis and commentaries
- Manage the month-end close process, review balance sheet reconciliations and prepare report submissions to the Group
- Prepare statutory financial statements
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts and provide insightful recommendations
- Supervise and mentor financial reporting team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their roles effectively
- Manage the team deliverables around financial and statutory reporting
- Take a proactive and hands-on approach in resolving finance matters which arise within the team and across the business
- Identify opportunities to improve existing process and implement new process as well as being a key influencer

**Here's what you need to set you off on an ICONIC journey..**
- 6+ years' experience in financial accounting
- Extensive experience in managing audits and preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Experience in inventory processes, movements, and write-offs, and working closely with our stakeholders at the Fulfilment Centre
- Experience in the retail/ecommerce industry
- Strong knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards and experience in ASX listed company.
- CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Proven working experience managing a small team
- Experienced in ASX listed reporting is required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Business Central would be advantageous
