**About the Cardiology Department**

The Cardiology Department is responsible for the provision of an extensive range of cardiac services to inpatients and outpatients including general cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure service, echocardiography, cardiac catheterisation, interventional and structural heart procedures, and non-invasive diagnostic procedures.

**About the role**

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic Cardiac Non-Invasive Imaging Fellow to join our Cardiology Department for a 12-month Fellowship position from February 2026.

A regular day will see you:

- Training will include performing/reporting laboratory procedures including TTE, TSE, DSE, TOE, Cardiac MRI & CT
- Attending outpatient clinics
- Research activities
- General cardiology duties
- Presentation of audits and topics in departmental educational meetings

**About you**

As the Cardiac Non-Invasive Imaging Fellow, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You'll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.

To be successful in this role you must:

- Be a registered Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - (note eligible applicants will be assisted through this process).
- Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of cardiology.
