**The core capability requirements for this role are**:
Support the Prevention Together Strategic Framework through the provision of intelligence services to Regions / Commands in the assessment of problem places, cases and issues.
Provide support and timely intelligence, including road, disaster and event intelligence to investigators and officers of other disciplines in support of investigations or operations.
Research targeted areas and collate data into varying formats through data storage and retrieval systems. Prepare operational intelligence profiles, charts and diagrams utilising accepted intelligence processes and systems.

Liaise with relevant law enforcement agencies, government, private organisations and other information sources.

Role Requirements
Qualifications in criminal justice, criminology, psychology, intelligence, law and/or previous experience in intelligence will be favourably considered.
Other
The successful applicant/s will be required to perform duty anywhere within the owning District or within any Group/Unit where Crime and Intelligence Command conducts business.
The successful applicant/s must undertake intelligence training delivered by the Queensland Police Service in line with current policy.
The successful applicant/s may be required to undergo psychometric assessment, prior to appointment.
Applicants are advised that whilst performing the duties of the position they may be exposed to material (written, visual and audio) of a graphic and sensitive nature.
Applicants may be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance to the mínimal level of Negative Vetting Level 1.
Shift work may be a requirement of the role.
