About the Role

As a Room Service Attendant, you will contribute to the efficient running of the department according to the established brand standards of Hyatt International, providing courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times when delivering meals to rooms and taking orders from guests.

Some of the responsibilities include:

- Perform opening and closing procedures as per the departmental standard.
- Have a thorough understanding of and knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu.
- Handle guest's enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, and to report guest complaints to a Team leader.
- Assist with taking and input order requests.
- Assist in inventory and/or stocktake procedures as requested by supervisors.
- Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
- Deliver meals to guest room and or retrieve trays and/or carts from guest rooms.
- Ensure departmental procedures of storing and caring for equipment is followed

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Food & Beverage experience in hotel environment or similar fast-paced environment highly regarded
- A valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
