Outstanding opportunity for a multi-talented individual to work on Moreton Island for a fun water sports and adventure company.

We are searching for motivated young individuals with a talent for organisation and a passion for all matters customer service and the water. Tangalooma is located on Moreton Island, which is only 75 minutes from Brisbane. It is the 3rd largest sand island in the world, and is home to a wide variety of wildlife such as wild dolphins

Joining the Tangatours team provides many opportunities for recreation, professional development, diving, using our hire equipment, and experiencing Moreton Island in all its wonder. Ideally you will have tourism or hospitality experience in various areas such as customer service and tour guiding.

You must also hold first aid / CPR certificates and a QLD Blue card. PADI Divemaster or Dive Instructor certifications are desirable but not essential. Duties and responsibilities will consist of guiding tours (snorkelling, Segways, kayaking etc.), deckhand duties on multiple vessels, performing safety briefings, providing excellent customer service in store through booking tours and hiring of water sports equipment, set up and pack down of stores and hire equipment.

This position is suited to individuals who are quick learners, well organised, able to work autonomously or in a team, and enjoy interacting with guests. We are looking for someone who is active, can bring a positive attitude, and loves working indoors/outdoors.

There are several positions available, with opportunities to live on Moreton Island permanently or to commute on the ferry.
