Whether you're driven by technical depth, people development, or strategic client partnerships, this position offers the flexibility and scope to make it your own.What you will be doing.High-impact leadership role alongside the Regional ManagerDiverse, international project portfolio across West Africa, Asia, South America, and AustraliaOpportunity to guide a high-performing 20-person team, plus remote site engineersFlexibility to focus on technical leadership, client strategy, and people managementOpen to international candidates – sponsorship availableResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team SupportAct as a key support to the Regional Manager; lead in their absenceMentor and develop junior engineersOversee team resourcing, workload and project deliveryProvide guidance to remote construction teamsTechnical OversightLead or review design for tailings dams, heap leach pads, and geotechnical infrastructureOversee investigations, testing, design, and risk assessmentsContribute to construction and closure planningProduce and review technical deliverables (reports, specifications, drawings, performance reports)Attend inspections, review meetings, and workshops—locally and internationallyClient EngagementMaintain and grow relationships with both local and international clientsSupport proposal writing, bids, and technical presentationsRepresent the company at client meetings and industry eventsRequirementsChartered Civil or Geotechnical Engineer (or eligible)Significant experience in tailings, dams, or mine infrastructureStrong technical grounding with leadership potentialOpen to international candidates with relevant experience, who would be motivated to relocate to Australia, where the company will help with visa sponsorshipWho are TSS?
