With production underway at Paulsens and Kal East, a robust project pipeline, and rapid exploration across our tenements, the Company has a clear vision of sustainable multi-operation gold production.With the recent acquisition of the Lakewood Processing Facility (Lakewood), we plan to mine new open pits and head underground within the third quarter of 2025.With a number of exciting projects in the pipeline, it's a great time to come on board, with plenty of opportunity to grow your career and be part of our exciting journey and future success.We are seeking a Project Mine Geologist - Open Pit for the Kal East Gold Operation to help position the Kalgoorlie project for long-term success.The position is FIFO from Perth or residential from Kalgoorlie with a negotiable roster.
Lakewood is approximately 6 km from Kalgoorlie, with our mining operations located within a 40 km radius of the centralised processing facility.About the OpportunityThe Project Mine Geologist - Open Pit works closely with the Senior geologist to facilitate grade control practices that optimise ore recovery in an open pit environment.About YouTertiary qualification in Geology or equivalent.Strong experience as a geologist within an open pit gold mining operation.Ability to mentor junior mine geologists and manage a small team.Strong experience with geological software used in mining, including Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine, and Acquire.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with grade control, Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) sampling and mapping practices, reporting, mine reconciliation, and mining methods, systems and processes.If you would like to know more about the above opportunity, please email (emailprotected).
