**Your responsibilities will include**:

- The primary focus of this role will include (not limited to):

- Ensuring stock is securely packed and stowed IAWDEF(AUST)1000C
- Proficient in Storage and Shipping functions
- Work autonomously in a limited capacity as required
- Safe Loading/Unloading of freight
- Operation of material handling equipment
- Accurate identification of inventory and assets
- Use of MILIS including but not limited raising requisitions, warehouse transfers, credit returns, stocktaking.
- Working collaboratively and responsively alongside the Commonwealth whilst embedded in the operational environment
- Well developed customer service skill

Ideally you will have;
- Experience within a warehousing or similar position
- Computer literacy with an ability to produce and interpret complex reports and information
- Forklift/High Risk Work Environment experience is highly desirable

**About you**:

- As a Warehouse Officer, your responsibilities will incorporate Defence warehouse and inventory operations complying with Commonwealth Governance polices, aeronautical product management and control.

**Special Requirements**:
Applicants** **are required to be able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Force security clearance.
Employment may be contingent on the satisfactory result of criminal and/or other background screens, which require the collection and transfer of personal information.

This role will be based at Oakey, QLD.
