Your OpportunityPlena Healthcare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist, based on the Gold Coast to join our Queensland team of mobile clinicians, servicing Southport to Robina.
This part time role (2 days per week) focuses on dysphagia and communication assessments and interventions for adults living in residential aged care.Whether you are a Recent graduate or an experienced clinician, we offer an engaging, flexible, and supportive environment where your expertise will make a real impact on clients living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke complications, progressive neurological conditions, and age-related decline.What You'll Be DoingManage your own calendar of appointments with the flexibility to choose work hours and locationsAssess and diagnose swallowing and communication difficultiesDeliver in-person and telehealth-based interventionsCollaborate with your state-based Speech Pathology Team Leader and a close-knit national teamTravel opportunities to support clients in regional locations (optional)Advocate for clients' communication needsProvide consultation, education, and support to clients, families, and care teamsLiaise with support coordinators and colleagues to ensure comprehensive careWhat You'll NeedTertiary qualification in Speech PathologyMembership with Speech Pathology AustraliaValid driver's licence and access to reliable transportPassion for working with older adults and individuals with complex needsWhy Join Plena Healthcare?
