Reporting to the **Workshop Supervisor**, the **New Machine Assembler** will be responsible for assisting the Plant Mechanics in machine rebuilds and component change outs on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment.

We encourage those with a mechanical aptitude or exposure working on various mobile plant equipment from any industries including transportation, mining, engineering, agriculture, or vehicle dealerships to apply.

**Location**: Perth Airport

**Roster**:Monday - Friday 10hrs

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Excellent mechanical aptitude or mechanical experience, Heavy or Light Vehicle
- Exposure working in a similar service environment or mining
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Motivated problem-solving skills
- Basic tools required
- Forklift Ticket, Basic Rigger, Dogging, Working at Heights
- Be well aligned and exhibit WesTrac's SPARC values
