**About the opportunity**

The Operations Shift Supervisor (2:30AM) - Facility will lead a team of team leaders and freight handler staff to deliver against agreed budget and performance outcomes for a given facility functional entity. The Operations Shift Supervisor (AM) will facilitate the continued improvement of the facility operations by analysing current performance, identifying improvement opportunities and developing improvement action plans in conjunction with the AM Facility Manager. This role is focused on delivering continual efficiency improvement at the lowest possible cost in the pursuit of service excellence. The role of the Operations Shift Supervisor (AM) is to provide clear direction, accountability and collaboration across facility processing teams in alignment with business objectives.

**You'll be**

We are currently looking for an Operations Shift Supervisor, based at Adelaide Road Facility, who will be responsible for leading the operations agents within StarTrack. On a daily basis this role will see you:
Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including managing customer relationships in collaboration with commercial and customer service teams, as required o Actively develop and foster a capable support and team network to ensure commitment to facility objectives o Manage allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to enable achievement of facility objectives o Be the topic matter expert in relevant area of responsibility to ensure operational and customer needs are aligned with delivery of high service quality o Lead change and innovation within teams o Drive new cultural practices, systems and processes that support desired change.

**About you**

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and style, someone who is honest, open minded and collaborative. We're on the hunt for someone who is Safety focused with the ability to offer left field thinking and a new perspective on the efficiency of the operation. **You'll also have**:

- Experience in Logistics/ Excel and reporting experience preferable
- Experience managing a small but fast paced team
- Proven ability to have challenging and difficult conversations
- Builds trust and instils self-confidence through mutually respectful, ongoing communication
- Open minded
