With a comprehensive strategic plan in place, this organisation is experiencing significant growth and is seeking the expertise of an experienced HR / Payroll Officer to join their team.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the duties will include:

- Providing HR generalist support to the HR Manager and various Managers
- Responsible for recruitment, onboarding and inductions
- Assist Managers with performance appraisals and general HR advice
- Assist staff and Managers in interpreting the Employee Collective Agreement
- Accurate and timely processing of fortnightly pays
- Monitor and processing salary packaging, annual leave, sick leave, allowances and reimbursements
- Ensure payroll, taxation and superannuation commitments are met
- Assist with the integration of the Payroll and HR systems
- Reconcile payments to Committee Members, Elders, and Consultants

This is a hands-on role and requires a high level of accuracy, strong communication skills and the willingness to work in a team.

Completion or near completion of a Diploma or Certificate IV in Human Resources is required for this role along with previous experience in processing payroll and associated duties.
